The challenge posed by Pandemics
such as Covid -19
We all well remember the lockdowns, and the panic.
If it wasn’t for animal abuse (and any disobeying of Genesis 1:29 I think is animal abuse)there wouldn’t have been such medical and mortal distress.
Many diseases such as Covid 19 and HIV come from eating wild animals(HIV was from eating our closest relatives, the apes, I seem to remember)but if complete antibiotic resistance comes- and it could easily come with the way antibiotics are used in intensive livestock farming -the pandemics from bacteria could be far worse than this.
We need to spread the news that these pandemics and so much other illnesscomes from turning a blind eye to animal abuse.
For over 3000 years Jews, and Christians from the beginningshould have known that what led to these pandemics was against the will of God,and should have been avoiding meat, and warning others to do the same. NOW is a good time for us to evangelise,amongst Christians who are not vegetarian/veganand amongst those who are vegetarian or veganand are not Christian.
